My name is Phyllis Böhret, I am a self-taught Swiss-Australian artist with a background in oil painting.
I am influenced by my experiences of living in Switzerland, where I learnt to capture the magical landscape of the snow-covered alps, and the peaceful winter landscapes.
I attended art classes in oil painting at the Ringwood Art Society in 2003/2004.
Lately, I have been developing a different style, using acrylic paints in contemporary fluid art, finished off with resin to ensure durability and bring out texture and depth. This style enables me to express my passion for the vibrant bold colours in acrylics.
Two of my paintings were shown, and sold at an art exhibition in Mount View Art Show in 2019.
I am based in Melbourne Victoria. |
