ARTIST NOTES: Devenish is a small town North West of Benalla which has joined the communities that have painted their Grain Silos as part of the Silo Art Trail. The images on the 2 concrete silos were completed in time for Anzac Day 2018 and depict an Army Nurse in WW1 uniform and a medic in modern uniform. The image on the smaller (steel) silo was completed in time for Anzac Day 2019 and is of a Light Horseman and his horse, representing the 50 men from the district that enlisted for WW1. The local Publican let me set up the caravan on their nature strip so I could take a night shot . I frame my works myself using Australian Hardwoods. Prices are for lightly stained Mountain Ash but other timbers are available subject to what I can get from my suppliers The sizes shown are for the print.
