Lifting of the veil No7 is an expressive representational piece Inspired by an early foggy morning at the Achreon cutting
Delicate layers of the constrained pallet colours worked in scumbling, dry brushing and glazing medium combine to create a moody piece that brings a sense of early morning light kissing the the fog in the valley and the distant clouds.
The gloss varnish awakens the subtle colours and gives depth to the works.
The mist will gradually and subtle change as the light changes throughout the day.
The edges are matt varnished and the work is signed on the back up neat the top.
A round mid size piece has depth that creates a scene of clam to any room.
